Mary Clare started researching for a 2013 cruise as she and Grady headed to Texas for the Kane Family Reunion in July. Because Andy worked so hard at the reunion, Mary Clare and Grady decided he and Norma deserved a cruise. Cindy still had her 2011 Christmas Cruise from work and knew she was 'stuck' with Kathy as her cabin mate. 6 Kanes were definitely taking a cruise from Galveston in January 2013. Grady and Mary Clare visited Grady's high school friends after the reunion and invited them to join us: John and Richard. Judy (Peggy's sister) and Ken (John's college friend) decided they deserved a break in January as well. Cabins were booked and all 14 were ready for a January 20th departure from Galveston, TX, on Royal Caribbean's Mariner of the Seas for a Western Caribbean cruise (Cozumel, Grand Cayman, Jamaica).
