The day's second event for Team Regulator was Capture the Chicken (a.k.a., Red Light Green Light). The facilitator, with his back to the kids, would call out a phrase and turn around as the kids approached. The kids would freeze in place, either as they approached the facilitator or walked away with the chicken. Brian would try to guess who had the chicken, and if he was right, the kids would have to start over... and he was right quite a few times before the kids finally triumphed.
The Taylor Elementary School's fifth graders had an all-day field trip to The Hemlock Overlook Center for Experiential Education, where they participated in the Team Development Course. The kids had a great time and learned that when you work together as a team you can accomplish things you never thought possible. The highlight of the day for many was the the Zip Wire.
